In partnership with the Asia-Europe Foundation - ASEF, the publication "CREATIVE RESPONSES TO SUSTAINABILITY - PORTUGAL GREEN GUIDE 2019" was launched in a Symposium at Almeida Garrett Library. The Portuguese Green Guide identifies 16 cultural organizations and institutions that contribute to environmental and social change in Portugal. The occasion brought together researchers, artists and curators, who reflected and debated issues related to the themes of the Biennial.

Symposium presenters: Virgílio Ferreira, artistic director of Ci.CLO Bienal’19, and coordinator of the publication; Valentina Riccardi, representative of the Asia-Europe Foundation and coordinator of the Green Guide; guest speaker Tim Clark, curator and editor of London's photo magazine 1000 Words Magazine; and project investigators of the Green Guide: Gil Penha-Lopes, activist and researcher of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon; Nancy Duxbury, researcher at the Center for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra; Ana Carvalho, coordinator of the guide mapping; and Jayne Dyer, artist and researcher. The presence of the guest Tim Clark was supported by the United Kingdom Embassy in Lisbon.
